Delaware is entering the final year of a $44-million widening project of 36/37 under the Norfolk Southern Railroad bridge.

The $44-million Point Improvement Project at US36/SR 37 in Delaware is entering its final year, which will include a 45-day closure of Central Avenue.

Resort general manager Jegan Selvarajan said the initiative reflected a community coming together with shared purpose.
