Sewing on buttons by machine! Use a Button Sewing Foot. Disengage feed teeth of machine. Place button under the foot so the button’s holes are visible in front of the foot. Select zigzag stitch with stitch width about 4mm; Turn handwheel toward you slowly to check that the zigzag clears holes - adjust stitch width as necessary for your button.
