Ever see a sea turtle nest hatching on the beach? Often referred to as a "boil" because of the appearance of the sand moving like a pot of boiling water as the babies emerge from the nest. This nest was caught in the act on September 3, 2022 at about 11:00 pm on North Core Banks through the use of a trail camera set up near the nest.
