Corn harvest and preservation is here! I stagger plant my corn rows so I don’t have so much to do at once. 1/8th of the way done, about 320 more ears to go 🌽😅I typically freeze my harvest for the year with these steps:1. Pick corn and shuck, and snap off the end stem.2. Remove any bugs, excess silk, and blemishes. 3. In a bucket of clean water use a brush to take off the last of the silk. 4. Blanch corn ears in batches in a large stock pot in boiling water for 3-4 minutes.#5. Remove from water
