One and a half thousand years ago, a scribe copied a Syriac translation of Matthew 12 onto parchment, but it was later erased so the paper could be reused. An Austrian scholar has now used ultraviolet photography to reveal the original text. It's one of the earliest translations of the New Testament. 7NEWS at 6pm.
