A strong low pressure system developed in the E Pacific over the past few days, and this animation of the Geocolor satellite imagery shows it intensifying to hurricane force (winds >= 64 knots) earlier today while moving into the Gulf of Alaska. This video contains no speech or other audio information necessary for the comprehension of the content. It is best viewed in HD.
