The fact that chief took a pause to launch the dawn to see if the arbiter was okay says so much. Those precious seconds could've been the difference between the entire dawn making it through the portal vs half of it being sheared off, and that moment taught me so much in life, though you're in a rush to save the world you must appreciate what's around you whether it's who or what you have in that moment because that could be the only moment with them you have.
