Jumping is a fantastic way to increase athleticism and make your workouts way more fun. You want to keep the reps low (3-6 is what I recommend) and ease your way into it. Running has higher impact than walking and jumping has higher impact than running but if you follow the instructions in this video and keep your jump total under 40 total jumps you should be fine.
