Mostly transverse middle third femoral shaft fracture. 65 y.o / Male Case: Fall from standing height. Gross deformity and shortening of the left lower limb. Diaphyseal fractures are less common than proximal femoral fractures, but they can also happen in the elderly following low-energy trauma such as a fall from standing height. Fractures of the diaphysis of the femur often present with associated injuries, and thorough physical and radiologic examination is advised. Common associated injuries
