I really believe in DIY poodle grooming for SO many reasons. 1/ YOUR POODLE WOULD CHOOSE YOU IF YOU GAVE THEM THE CHOICE. 2/ Poodles are a high maintenance breed and you need to learn how to look after their ears, nails and coat for them to be healthy. 3/ It saves heaps of money. 4/ It will enrich your relationship with your poodle. 5/ grooming skills will teach you about your dogs body and anatomy and teeth and enable you to identify lumps and scratches and itches and sore spots and irritation

Trust is the biggest factor in grooming. A poodle will listen to what you say and allow you to groom them peacefully if they trust your leadership. I spend alot of time building trusting relationships with my poodle client dogs and they trust me to keep them safe and give them rewards while letting me to do things they don’t love like cutting nails, bathing and ear cleaning, shaving the face etc.. the list goes on. I carefully build these relationships by showing the poodles that I am in control
