THE HEEL SLIDE 🦵 The heel slide is a great exercise to perform in the early stages of rehabilitation, after knee trauma, surgery, or in cases of knee pain. Why? The heel slide is a Closed Kinetic Chain (CKC) exercise. In CKC exercises, the segment furthest from the body (aka the distal aspect) is fixed.
