Get ready for some Turtle Care ASMR! Our Stranding Staff brushes sea turtles in our care like this to help get rid of flakes that shed from them. Healthy turtles can naturally shed these without a problem, however sick turtles may need some extra help removing those uncomfortable flakes. Turtles can also feel through their shells, which makes this a great way to enrich their day-to-day lives as we rehabilitate them! Our rescued turtles are currently recovering well.
