DIY pergola It’s almost 3 years since we made our own pergola. Unable to find a kit to fit the corner as we wanted, we headed off to our local timber yard, put pen to paper and created a simple structure. We then painted it black and added some reed-on-a-roll to create shade, with corrugated plastic over the top to make the area waterproof.
