Another fun little coaster! This one started with a 2.5" hexagon, then I added 2" strips around the outside. For the first strip, I used a partial seam so the last strip could be sewn to the base hexagon like the rest of the strips. Then you can see I go back to the first strip and sew it to the last strip. Kind of a fun way to do the strips around the outside. I quilted with straight lines (but haven't bound it yet). Since it only has batting in it, I'll use it as a mugrug, but you could add In
