Giacomo Puccini's timeless opera, Tosca, opens this Saturday in a classic production you won't want to miss. Two lovers are thwarted by the power-hungry Scarpia, and the fiery prima donna Tosca is pushed past sanity. Puccini’s Tosca, based on Sardou’s 1887 play La Tosca, is set in Rome in June 1800.
